Abrir: agenda, objetivo y timebox
"Hi everyone, thanks for joining. The goal of this meeting is to decide how we'll handle the database migration. We have 30 minutes and three items on the agenda: the current status, the two options, and next steps. Let's get started."
- "Let's give people a couple of minutes to join."
- "By the end of this call, I'd like us to agree on…"
- "I've shared the agenda in the chat."
- "Anything else anyone wants to add to the agenda?"
- "Is it OK if I record this session?"
- "Priya, would you like to walk us through the status?"
- "Over to you, Marco."
- "Diego, you've worked on this. What's your take?"
- "Let's hear from someone who hasn't spoken yet."
Para controlar el tiempo sin sonar brusco:
- "Just a heads-up, we have ten minutes left."
- "In the interest of time, let's move on to the next item."
- "We're running a bit over on this topic."
- "Let's keep this to five minutes so we can cover everything."
Interrupciones y silencios
- "Sorry to cut in, but I want to make sure we get to everything."
- "Hold that thought, Ana. Let's let Tom finish first."
- "Thanks, that's really useful. Let me pause you there."
- "I think we're going a bit off track."
No preguntes "Any questions?" y sigas de inmediato. Da tiempo y haz preguntas abiertas o dirigidas:
- "I'll give it a few seconds in case anyone has thoughts."
- "What concerns do you have about this approach?"
- "Feel free to drop it in the chat if that's easier."
- "Lucía, from a QA perspective, does this work for you?"
Parking lot y "take it offline"
- "That's a great point, but it's outside today's scope. Let's put it in the parking lot."
- "Can we take this offline? It only affects the two of you."
- "Let's set up a separate call for that."
Take it offline no tiene nada que ver con internet: significa "lo hablamos fuera de esta reunión". Es muy común y no es descortés.
Decidir, resumir action items y cerrar
Llegar a una decisión
- "It sounds like we're leaning towards option B. Does anyone strongly disagree?"
- "Can we agree on this for now and revisit it next sprint?"
- "We don't have enough information to decide today. Who can find out?"
- "Let's go with option B, then."
"Let me quickly recap the action items. Marco will update the migration plan by Wednesday. Priya will check the budget with finance by Friday. I'll send the meeting notes today. Did I miss anything?"
- "Who's going to own this?"
- "When can you have that done by?"
Cerrar
- "Thanks, everyone. I'll give you five minutes back."
- "Great discussion. I'll follow up by email with the notes."
Guiones para las ceremonias de Scrum
Sprint planning
"Welcome to sprint planning. First, let's agree on the sprint goal. Then we'll look at the top of the backlog and check our capacity. Keep in mind that Diego is off on Thursday. Does this goal feel realistic for two weeks?"
Frases útiles: "Is this story ready to be pulled in?", "Do we have enough capacity for this?", "Let's split this story into smaller pieces."
Daily standup
"Morning, everyone. Let's keep it to fifteen minutes. Please share what you did yesterday, what you're doing today, and any blockers. Ana, do you want to start? … Thanks. Anything that needs more discussion, let's pick it up right after the standup."

Sprint review
"Thanks for joining the sprint review. Our goal this sprint was to launch the new checkout flow. Tom will demo what we completed, and then we'd love your feedback. We'll also mention what we didn't finish and why."
Frases útiles: "Here's what we delivered this sprint.", "This one didn't make it, it's moving to the next sprint.", "Does this meet your expectations?"
Retrospective
"Welcome to the retro. Remember, this is a safe space: we focus on the process, not on people. Take five minutes to add your notes under what went well, what didn't go well, and what we can improve. Then we'll vote and pick one or two actions for next sprint."
Frases útiles: "Let's group similar ideas together.", "Which of these should we focus on?", "Did we follow up on last retro's actions?"
Errores comunes de los hispanohablantes
| ❌ Lo que decimos | ✅ Lo que se dice | Por qué |
|---|---|---|
| Let's begin the meeting. The first point is… | Let's get started. The first item on the agenda is… |
| We have a meeting for discuss the plan. | We have a meeting to discuss the plan. | "Para" + verbo es to. |
| Somebody has a question? | Does anyone have any questions? | La pregunta necesita auxiliar does. |
| Let's do a resume of the meeting. | Let's do a quick recap. | Resume es un CV, no un resumen. |
| I will assist to the planning. | I'll attend the planning. | Assist es "ayudar"; "asistir" es attend. |
| We are agree. | We agree. | Agree es verbo, no adjetivo. |
